It's all over:(
God has taught me so much this summer. Number one thing was to love myself exactly how God created me. He provided me with an amazing community full of strong Christian women. Each woman had a special gift. Kelsey kirkwood took care of all of us and protected those she loved with all her strength and ability. Kristen Williams listened with all her heart and full passion. It was a huge blessing to have been able to watch her lead worship this summer. Allison always brought joy to the group in that she never complained and always saw the good in people! Kaitlin was as strong as a lion. God equipped her with the ability to not let life get her down and to keep an eternal perspective. I loved these girls sooooo much and I'm so sad to leave them! I can't wait to see them in 2 years! God bless and I will always be praying for each and everyone of you beautiful women and awesome men!

Last week!
This past week I got the opportunity to see 10th avenue north in concert which was amazing! Their music is filled with Gods love. Last night we all got tosee the new staff members of CRU get welcomed into ministry. It was powerful to see them all take an oath to God to serve. God's presence is so evident here. Tim Hawkins came as well. I literally cried so hard he was super funny! Only one week left and I am sooo excited to get home but I'm so sad to leave these girls! I wonder what summer project God has planned for my summer next year... Much love to all!

What a day!
Today started out alright until the school was struck by a tidal wave of screaming and crying children. On the other hand my classroom got a flush of sweet awesome kids! Around 10:30 I felt overwhelmingly sick and went home. It was really nice to sleep off my fever. I can't wait to see the kids again tomorrow! Tonight some ice cream with some friends and a Skype date with my mom and dad!

Wow! Heat!
It's been super scorching lately! A lot of crazy things have been going on in Colorado! I went to a tattoo place with my friend to get her tattoo priced and the guy started asking me if I knew Jesus. It was cool to get ministered to. I'm super excited to get some new kids on Tuesday! I sure am missing the family! Love and kisses!

Camping
This whole weekend we went camping and hiked in the Rockie mountains! We saw elk and chipmunks. The chipmunks came right up to Kristin today. The mountains were beautiful, you could clearly feel Gods presence. We hiked up to the snow covered cap. The snow was a blast except for slipping and sliding down the top because I'm soooooooo graceful. This weekend the project was handed over to the students. I'm super excited to see what God has in store for us. This is a fantastic experience to lead each other. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms. (1 Peter 4:10. I miss my family so much! I hope they are all having a ton of fun! I can't wait to come home and celebrate my moms 50 th birthday! Love you all! Look for pictures on Facebook.

A blessed day
Each day has been a huge blessing in the fact that God has been showing himself to me in a very loving and personal way. The wonderful kids that he has entrusted to me this summer have been so encouraging and a fun play time:). Last week we all went to Denver to help out at a car show. We went to an aquarium as well. Today was a glorious day in Gods word. It was a peaceful day to sit and digest the book of Ephesians. I'm really starting to miss my family and praying for time to talk with Alex when we can talk. This weekend will be a 3 day camping trip!!!! Lord help this girl!!!!!!! I have no idea when it comes to the wilderness!

Yay a new post... Shaweet!
Well it's been hectic lately and very hard to find time to blog. I'm loving Colorado and defs would move here if it weren't super far from alex and my family! Some of my friends and I went hiking last friday! The view was beautiful until I slip and fell all while huffing and puffing because I couldnt make it up the mountain due to lack of physical excellence. This work week has been amazing including squirrel hunting with the 5 year old boys and busting out laughing because kids are hysterical. Project is going great but it was super sad to miss my moms 50 th birthday. I got a wonderful thoughtful care package from my friend Jenny back home. Thanks Jenny. Much love to the fam and I miss and love you alex!
